2. How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?


My product engages with its audience through multiple aspects. First off, my product presents readers with multiple pictures of the subject. The pictures display beautiful views of mountain scenery and hiking trails, engaging its perspective audience to take interest in the activity of hiking. By including several images, my audience is engaged through visual content that gives them perspective on the visuals of the hiking trails and the surrounding views that are seen when hiking. In addition, my product engages with its audience through the content it provides them with. My magazine presents helpful tips for people who are looking to hike, intriguing its audience to take part in the activity. It also takes the readers along as it goes through real hiking trails, including pictures and tips on navigating, pacing, and enjoying yourself. In doing so, my product engages with audiences through making them feel included through the content it provides them with. Finally, throughout the product, readers are addressed with a motivating tone, which gives them a sense of comfort and inspiration.

My product would be distributed online, through travel companies, and at popular hiking destinations throughout the eastern United States. Through distributing my product online, the magazine will be very accessible to everyone who wishes to read it. Having my product distributed online will eliminate any limitations or restrictions that would come with its distribution in a physical format. For example, the online format will be able to attract larger audience as it will be available to people all around the world. Secondly, my product would be distributed as a real media text through travel companies. Being distributed in this area will target the correct audience for the magazine, which will give the magazine more success. Finally, this magazine would be distributed at popular hiking destinations in the states of Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee, as hiking trails described in the product were in these states. A distribution of the product in Great Smoky Mountains National Park would bring the product to success as there are multiple trials and pictures within the park described in the magazine.
